Limitless
Right now, the way I think AI is helping me is that it’s like the best of having massive information at my fingertips and having a coach to help me organize it. Any day, any time of night, I’m able to dump an idea, compare that idea to many other ideas that the AI has access to, multitask, or focus on one thing.
And when I’m doing effective multitasking, I literally feel like my brain lights up. It feels like the terminals, the connections, are reaching new parts of my brain.
Except, of course, it really isn’t constrained by the size of my brain anymore.
It feels almost quantical. It feels limitless. Like the movie Limitless.
That’s really what made me think about this in the first place. Sometimes it feels like there’s a limitless opportunity when you’re able to go through your day, your week, or your life connected to your brain in this manner.
You’re contemplating, but those contemplations are going down on paper. Virtual paper, if we may.
And the big thing for me is that it’s all being organized.
There’s a line in Limitless where he talks about everything being organized and ready to go. That’s the association for me. Obviously, that’s a movie, and this is my much more humble example, but that part feels familiar.
I’m able to organize all these things that I’m thinking about during my day. There’s a variety of topics. I’m putting them down on paper. I’m creating lanes for them. The blog is an example of that. Everything is getting organized, and I’m developing these things little by little.
It’s not a commercial enterprise. It’s just me evolving.
But if you want to talk quickly about the commercial side, that’s where some of the mystery becomes real. Because when you’re organized and putting your ideas down on paper, by happenstance or serendipity, you can sometimes tap into something that makes sense.
Or maybe you tap into somebody else, online or in real life. You’re talking about something, you get along, and maybe one thing leads to the next and suddenly you’re talking about a business opportunity.
So, in my opinion, it’s better to do this than not to do it.
But going back to the main lane of this conversation, it feels like an expansion of my brain. Definitely an extension of my brain.
I like the notion of everything being organized, where I can go back and see what I’ve been thinking. And one of the most vibrant things about this is that I feel like I can be an open book to the world.
There’s something powerful about that.
There’s a beauty in having a diary. And this diary, to me, is supercharged. Turbocharged.
There’s something beautiful about being able to collect your thoughts and organize them. The brainstorming and the organizing are, in and of themselves, something great.
I’m not really looking for anything out of it. There’s no particular outcome I’m trying to force.
But there is a lot of benefit.
I’m excited, and I know I love this because I’m working on it all the time, day and night.
Who knows what will happen here.
Right now, I just feel great. My brain feels clear. I feel clear spiritually. Things feel organized.
And that’s pretty much it.
